Christian Keroles
Bitcoin Conference, Miami Beach
ConnectChristian Keroles — known as "CK" — has been a passionate and dedicated advocate for Bitcoin throughout his career, which began in 2017 when he became captivated by Bitcoin and the implications of this nascent technology. CK left his career in software sales at well-funded Silicon Valley startups to join BTC Inc., then a scrappy media and events company in the early Bitcoin industry.
At BTC Inc., Christian Keroles built a reputation as a strong executor and effective manager, rising through the ranks to become COO. During his time at BTC Inc., he was instrumental in building Bitcoin Magazine into a dominant player in the Bitcoin media space and on social media. He also helped found the world's largest Bitcoin event, which has become one of the biggest and most successful fintech events in the world.
After nearly six years at BTC Inc., CK joined the Human Rights Foundation in 2023 as Director of Financial Freedom, where he focused on advancing open-source Bitcoin development and global Bitcoin adoption. Today, Christian Keroles serves as the Senior Director of Operations at the Human Rights Foundation, where he leads the organization's capacity building, finance, and events, and serves as the executive producer of HRF's cornerstone event, the Oslo Freedom Forum.
In his spare time, Christian Keroles is working on a book titled How to Think About Bitcoin and a stealth startup in the demand response industry. His operating principle: "The key to life is to know nothing."
